Barto also emphasized the company’s awareness of the capacity constraints within the municipal grid, which is why developers are collaborating closely with both the Umdoni and eThekwini municipalities to address these challenges.

Barto revealed that Renishaw Property Developments is in advanced discussions with a school group interested in establishing a new educational facility within the precinct—a move that would greatly benefit the community and serve future residents. He also shared exciting news about ongoing talks with a church group to establish a new church on the site.

Transformative Plans: Padel Courts, Trails, and a Hotel Elevate Renishaw’s Vision

We are in discussions with two developers to build padel courts adjacent to Olive Cow & Co at Renishaw (the existing Cafe in the Renishaw Village). This will include a complete makeover of the area, featuring new changing rooms and upgraded facilities. Plans are also in progress to map out cycling, walking and hiking trails, which are expected to attract even more tourists to the region. Furthermore, there is interest from a prominent hotel group in establishing a presence within the precinct, adding to the growing momentum of this transformative project.

Standing Strong: Crookes Brothers’ Commitment to Renishaw’s Vision

Kennett Sinclair, CEO of Crookes Brothers Ltd., expressed his full support for the Renishaw project, stating that Crookes Brothers will stand by Renishaw throughout the development.
